About Tilly

Tilly Parsons is a Melbourne (Naarm) based portrait, event and art documentation photographer. She works at the intersection of art and commercial photography, carving a niche for herself by blending creativity with refined technical skills.

Artistic Practice

Tilly has exhibited in several group shows; these include the Rey Area Showcase Melbourne (2023), Robyn Beeche Award (2023) and Tokyo Metropolitan Museum’s 64th Annual Print Society Exhibition (2023). Commitment to the Community

Beyond the commercial realm, Tilly is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Believing in the transformative power of art, she has made it a mission to support low-income artists and not-for-profit organizations through pro-bono and reduced-cost services. This commitment stems from a desire to make professional visual branding accessible to everyone, irrespective of financial constraints.

Through pro-bono projects with notable organisations such as Butch Clothes, Etiko Fairtrade, The Social Studio and Dancehouse, she has used her lens to shed light on important social issues, amplifying the voices of those who often go unheard.

Clients

She has also been commissioned for clients such as Broadsheet, Myer, The University of Melbourne, Arup,  RMIT, Melbourne Design Week, the City of Yarra, the City of Melbourne and Queer-ways.
